I started following David Feci, aka DFeci, in March 2018. Straightaway, I became fascinated by his style and a doodling exercise using letters as skeletons for characters.
However, my favorite works are his unique comic book characters for Edge of Nowhere, in particular, Glurp.
Dave Feci – Glurp and Edge of Nowhere Comic
Glurp’s image spoke to me since, as a child, I enjoyed calligraphy writing. David took the concept of a calligraphy dip pen and created a character. Something artists and hand lettering fanatics appreciate.
Since starting his webcomic, David perfected Glurp and the Edge of Nowhere gang.
Through the webcomic series, you meet many interesting characters besides Glurp. Mel, Ink Bob, Dave, and many more come together to share many adventures.
David Feci Comic Book Artist
David Feci, based out of San Jose, CA, creates inspiring digital art beyond the Edge of Nowhere webcomic. But, he doesn’t stop there. His hand drawn work proves his genuine talent.
Upon scrolling through his Instagram feed, you experience his unique style and talent. And, also, a new take on some old classics.
DFeci designs both human-like and inanimate object based characters. This creative technique allows the reader to enter into a unique universe based at the Edge of Nowhere.
