It’s on all of us to decide how it goes after this pandemic and economic shutdown. So, how will all of this go? With so much on the line, which path will we choose?
Will We Re-Define
Will we decide to buy from local and small businesses and those who manufacture American-made? Or, stick to sending our money and jobs overseas?
Are we capable of choosing to become self-reliant when it comes to food and other necessities? Or, is it easier to continue to have things shipped to us – trading power for convenience?
Will we decide to go back to or accept jobs that treated workers improperly during these times? As a result, will the customers and clients still choose to consume from them?
Could we learn skills and do more for ourselves? Or, rely on some other entity, be it a company or the government to fund and dictate our way of life?
Shall we continue to use fake money backed by nothing but air? Or, embrace a gift or barter economy where the value of our efforts is maintained?
Strength In Numbers
We have the numbers. As we make up the vast majority of people. Therefore, we decide what comes of this.
We can elect representatives at all levels who make life harder and serve the desires of the global elites or the wealth of other nations. Or, instead, go an alternate route. We can take things back to basics and make it easier for the new and small competition to exist and succeed.
Hopefully, in the post-COVID-19 international quarantine world, society will never be the same; it’s whether we let “good” or “evil” win.
In this crucial time, what will we decide? Only time will tell.
