Goodbye 2019. What a year, what an end to a decade. I learned a ton this year and tried so many new things. Now, I look forward to what 2020 will bring.
Goodbye, 2019 – You’ve Taught Me So Much
As I say, “goodbye 2019”, I pause and look back at my most incredible year yet. As the year started by dealing with unexpected trauma that pushed me further on my personal pursuits. I focused on self-care and practicing minimalism early on. Then, in February, I took the opportunity to travel and explore Arizona in winter. Which, I’ll admit, showed me how little it takes to go from freezing to hot and from rain to dryness.
Throughout the year, I tried many new things. I built a stone paver patio with no prior experience and it turned out better than expected. In addition, I remodeled several rooms and replaced flooring. And, I got into woodworking. Also, I took the time to learn clay sculpting and 3D modeling, which helped months down the road with running my family’s new CNC machine.
Successful Efforts for my Health
In early 2019, I began to slip up with my carnivore way of eating. While dealing with life, I gave into temptations on more than one occasion. However, as time went on, I regained focus and got back on track with a healthier mindset toward eating carnivorously, which gives me my best health. In addition to eating well, I made regular attendance at the gym a habit. Not to mention, I overcame procrastination and became a more productive person.
Goodbye, 2019, my best year yet, it’s been real! In 2020, I will continue to exceed yesterday and make it my next best year yet!
