For over 17 years, journalist Tatiana Prophet covered Latino and immigrant communities. Tatiana’s start in journalism focused on advocating for those illegally crossing the border under false premises – jobs and a place to live.

Back to Facts is an ode to the current state of political hysteria. In her mission statement, she explains her concerns with biased reporting, the importance of complete facts, and seeking clarity in the age of “hyperpartisanship.”

Her efforts stretch beyond her website, sharing timely updates on the Back to Facts Facebook and Twitter pages. Tatiana participates with her audience in the comment section, which further guides her efforts.
In addition, Tatiana created and administers an additional private group for those who prefer to discuss less visibly online, which you cannot request access to through Facebook.
Tatiana – More Than A Writer
Often, Tatiana passes along articles from mainstream sources adding additional information and points of discussion. However, her most compelling work often inspires videos to share more in-depth thoughts from analyzing all available data. The videos cover topics that stay open for discussion beyond day-to-day events.
